Draft for review. These terms haven't been checked by a solicitor yet and will be before RESIVIS launches. [COMPANY NAME] and [REGISTERED ADDRESS] are still to be filled in.
Terms of use
The agreement between you and us when you use RESIVIS, in plain words. Please read the part about building: RESIVIS makes concept designs, not construction drawings.

1. Who we are
RESIVIS is run by [COMPANY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("we", "us"). These terms cover the RESIVIS apps, the web app at app.resivis.com, this website (resivis.com) and the RESIVIS server that AI agents connect to. By using RESIVIS you agree to them. The Privacy policy says what we do with your data.
2. Concept design, not for construction
RESIVIS helps you try ideas for your home and see them: layouts, finishes, lighting, services and renders. Everything it draws, measures, checks and suggests is a concept to talk about, not a design to build from.
- Its checks (building regulations, structure, drainage, ventilation, fire escape, planning) are a guide from rules of thumb and published figures, for England. They aren't a survey, a structural calculation, building-control approval or planning permission, and they can be wrong, above all where a plan was read from a picture.
- Its AI designer and plan reading can make mistakes. Check what they draw and change.
- Before you build, have an architect or designer draw the final plans, a structural engineer design anything structural (walls taken out, openings, beams, lofts, extensions), and building control (and planning, where it's needed) approve them. Measure on site: the drawings are only as right as the plan, scan or photo they came from.
- Renders and products are illustrations. Colours, sizes, prices and availability are for the maker or seller to confirm.
3. Your account
- You must be 16 or over to use RESIVIS.
- Keep your sign-in to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account, including by agents you connect.
- Use an email address you can receive mail at: it's how you sign in and how we reach you.
4. Your content
- What you add stays yours: your homes, plans, scans, photos and designs.
- You let us store, copy, process and show it as needed to run RESIVIS for you and the people you share it with, including sending it to the AI providers in the Privacy policy for the jobs you ask for. That ends when you delete it, apart from backups (up to 5 days) and comments you left on other people's projects.
- Only add plans, photos and other material you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful. A floor plan from an estate agent's listing, for example, is fine for designing your own home, not for publishing.
- You can use what RESIVIS makes for you (drawings, renders, models, exports) for your project, including giving it to your builder and other professionals.
- Product links you read join a catalogue everyone on RESIVIS can use: the product's details from its public page, not who added it.
6. Agents you connect
You can let your own AI agent (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) work in RESIVIS as you. It has your access and acts for you, and you're responsible for what it does. Its company handles what it reads under your agreement with them. Disconnect it any time in Account → Connected agents. How to connect one.
7. Plans and payments
- RESIVIS has a Free plan and a Project pass (and Pass+). What each includes is on the Plans screen in the app and on resivis.com. Prices are shown in the App Store or Google Play before you buy.
- Credits: the designer, looks, renders and reading products and plans use credits; the app says how many before each. Each plan comes with some (Free's to start and each month, a Project pass's for its home); a plan's credits end with the plan, or with the month for monthly ones. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
- You buy in the app, through Apple's App Store or Google Play. Their terms cover payment, billing and refunds. We never see your card details.
- Project pass: one home (a project) for the number of months shown before you buy. It doesn't renew by itself; buying another adds to the end of the one you have.
- Credit top-ups: credits that don't run out while your account exists, used once each.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Your legal rights as a consumer aren't affected.
- If a price changes, it applies to what you buy after the change.
8. Fair use
Don't use RESIVIS to break the law; try to get into other people's accounts or projects; overload, attack or scrape it, or get round its limits (including what your plan includes); or copy or resell RESIVIS itself (as opposed to what it makes for you). Your own agents and scripts are welcome through the MCP server and the API, with your own key or sign-in, within these terms. We may suspend or close an account that breaks them, and we'll say why where we can.
9. The service
RESIVIS is new and changes often. We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change or stop features. If we ever close RESIVIS, we'll give you notice and time to download your data.
10. Our responsibility to you
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit. Your legal rights as a consumer aren't affected.
- RESIVIS makes concept designs (section 2). We aren't responsible for building work, costs or decisions made from them without the professional checks section 2 describes.
- Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. [Solicitor to confirm.]
- If you use RESIVIS for a business, we aren't liable to you for loss of profit, revenue or business.
11. Ending
You can stop using RESIVIS at any time and delete your account in Account → Delete account (the Privacy policy says what that removes). We may end these terms if you seriously or repeatedly break them.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll post changes on this page with a new date. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies. If you keep using RESIVIS after that, the new terms apply.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with disputes. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your own courts.
